Numb

If I could make you look,
If I could make you smile.
I would never have to look,
If I could keep you for a while.

If I could calm your fear,
If I could ease your pain.
I would never have to fear,
If I could keep you, you'd remain.

If you had to feel regret,
If you had to feel afar.
I would not have to regret,
If you made us fall apart.

Did you think that it was real?
or Care for me at all?
If All I did was make you feel, 
Anything at all...
