Notes About The Poem

Nuances Of Togetherness

I’ve travelled a long way in lonely vale, in the distance I see your face gone pale, turning into a colorless shapeless shadow, indistinct in the darkness of the past hollow. But in the mystique moonshine night solitude hangs like silver mist in sight, spreading a veil of glaze to forever last on the present and on the past. I then hear your soft footsteps clear, carry the resonant echo of our past near, break the shroud of loneliness, and with its shard we mend the fence between us in our yard. We now keep it blissfully strong, where our entwined hearts belong, for we’ve restored it with true love as glue, shaping the tomorrow, reassured and new. Now my longing times are for you, yours mine, on drifting winds we don’t ever incline. We’ve shortened the distance, come closer, for we’ve built a bridge of fusion together. We’ve weaved enchanted in the craving air the tapestry of love with fervent flair that decorates the bridge between you and me. Let it not burn as long as our dreams we see.
