No Time To Rhyme.
I'd have liked to write a poem today
but I haven't got the time.
Can't think of what I would write about
as nothing seems to rhyme.
I thought of pesky animals
or maybe girls and boys.
I could write about the clockwork,
you know those wind-up toys.
I could write about the meadows
and all the different trees.
About things that fly around
you know like birds and bees.
I'd love to write some poetry
but alas I don't have time.
The problem that I'm having
is my words don't seem to rhyme.
