Nr Rain, Rain, Go Away

Rain, rain, go away
Come again another day
Little Abbie wants an ice cream cone
School's closed, you see, and she’s stuck at home!
Watching happy ducks in the pond as they swim
And her red sand pail you've filled to the rim!
Rain, rain, you’re so vain
Never show your face again!

When I was one year old,, my mother said that I used to stare out the window saying, "rain rain go away, little Andie wants to play." (I hated my baby years in Washington state. it is a very dreary place to grow up)
