Nowhere To Go
Nowhere to go
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Under a red and white sky he walks
A journey to escape betrayal and despair
This directionless quest necessary
It's the only chance to find his true self
Yet tragically the fates have insured
That futility shall forever reign
For he knows not who he is, a childhood legacy
But just vaguely, who he wishes to be
In a sound to daunt the fates, laughing against the irony
He continues to walk, going nowhere in particular
With nowhere welcomed, and nowhere to go
The man so much like his creator walks
Under a pale sky, painted red and white
