Now You Have the Freedom

Now you have the freedom but your childhood is gone No matter how hard you try you just can't sing the song Is it that you've forgotten the tune or the words? Oh don't you wish you could have kept that childhood song you heard? The one that rang within your ears as you sailed your little boat The one you sang down through the years 'til it vanished in your throat And you were left with nothing but memories of the worst and now you've so much wealth and fame your pockets 'bout to burst Yeah, now you've have the freedom but what good is it alone? It's so sad when you needed it most The allowance to you was none.
