Notes About The Poem

now we wait

daffodils thrust
themselves through 
winter's cold soil 
again

first day of spring~
sunrise and the violet
of your eyes 

myriad colors
in ranks and rows 
at the greenhouse

new garden
seed is sown
now we wait
