Now Vanished

A gold carriage sped me away one happy day- the world to see. Now vanished is youth’s luxury. Ahead of me, a pumpkin waits. Written Aug. 6, 2014 by Andrea Dietrich for nette onclaud's RIDE ON A PATHYA VA Poetry Contest Theme: Carriage

Was the carriage in a dream? Youth flies away so fast. I remember when I thought the year 2000 was so far away. I hope you are well and best of luck in the contest! Peace &Love Matthew Anishsb9

It's sad then it's happy and sad, and I LIKE PUMPKINS!~ that's my in-ex-SpUrt opinion! This short shot of magic is good San AndreaS; I took a day off the Soup yesterday to regroup from the poop and now im rhyming like a StooP-Ed Dupe on a Loop. Howdy and Bye! ~ Peace and chicken GreaseYo!~7rAted.not XraTed!:)-hey, ya' never really notice just how many times they use the same damn CAPTCHA letters until you stay on here commenting as much as you do...I KNOW YOU ARE LAUGHING CUS U KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

Is this about Cinderella? I have no idea what form this is though, but you sure gave it an interesting take! I really liked the message in the second stanza... btw, i checked out the song, thanks-- but I have no idea on how to write lyrics for that-- very nice melody though! And I think I saw the same video as you did, with the beaches, which interestingly enough were in Negros Occidental, one of the provinces here...

I love seeing your poetry blossom and mature each time I come back to it. That last line lingers, and really gives me, personally, a sense of urgency.
