Now Is the Time
Each second of time will be lost forever,
Now is your chance for worthwhile endeavor.
Do not presume the next beat of your heart.
Demand not the dawn of a new day.
Embrace the essence of your life.
Take joy in your ability to love.
Be consumed by your care for others.
Practice the art of happiness.
Overwhelm yourself with joyful tears.
Ache in your heart from the pain and ugliness of the world.
Lend your smile at no cost with opened hands.
Go a great distance for one good deed.
Persevere for those that depend on you.
Sacrifice all want for need.
Toil for good cause and positive effect.
Move forward or step aside, just make up your mind?
Make a difference and decide for now is the time!
