Now, I'M Here

This I tell you
As now I’m sure
I’ve reached the summit
Can’t ask for more
It once was dark
Paths lined with stone
You took my hand
To guide me home
There’re no more blocks
No more walls
I’ve knocked them down
Or scaled them all
The course now clear
The road is paved
I’m raring to go
To be on my way
Cause now I’m strong
I’m proving now
That through some tears
I’m still allowed
To make my mark
To make my name
To gain my ground
To live with fame
No whispered words
To escape my lips
I’m singing loud
To tell you this
That with you here
To support me well
We’ve reached our heaven
And escaped from hell
There are no more blocks
No more walls
I’ve knocked them down
Or scaled them all
The course is now clear
The road is paved
I’m raring to go
To be on my way
Cause now I’m strong
I’m proving now
That through some tears
I’m still allowed
To make my mark
To make my name
To gain my ground
To live with fame
