Now Here We Are

When fate decides to bring you love
It’s then you know it was worth waiting
After all the tragedies life has offered
Its then that it starts mending
Knowing that the best parts of life
Is just about to unfold
Hearing all those naïve advice
Not paying attention to what you were once told
In the end this is every man’s dream
To settle down and look ahead
Know that you have something to look forward to
Where there is neither remorse nor regret
It becomes a commitment one is happy to oblige
In order to make the other happy as can be
Both strive for the best in one another
And that my friends is a part of reality
No one likes the idea at the beginning
But it’s what all of us aim to find
That other half of us
And it’s carved deep inside our minds
Without anyone knowing
Until that very special day
Where you see her across from you
That’s when you know things will change.
And long comes the ceremony
We all expected and anticipated
Because at the end of this night
It will be a life that for the longest you have waited!
