Now

Now

	Lest I forget the nearness
	Of friends so far away
	Remind me to remember them,
	For time soon slips away

Today is here to count on
	Tomorrow is not yet ours
	Remind me to remember
	Today is just but hours

To feel the need to reach out
	To touch on someone new
	Remind me to remember
Old true friends are so few

To reach an age of learning
To know, to love, to feel
	Remind me to remember
The things that are, so real

To feel the love of others
And live for just the day
	Remind me to remember
	For the moments slip away
