November Sidewalks

November sidewalks unsightly grow
Leaves mingling, sloppy with slush and snow
Where dandelions bloomed between cement cracks
Now pray bugs that warmth come back

We are still in "warm country" here today, a high of fifty-six! I am wanting some snow.

I'll trade all the snow we have left for 5 degrees. What say you?! :) gw

Praying bugs are great! Poor little things. I hope the god of bugs will be merciful to them. Perfectly penned, Wolf.
