Not-Yet Fallen

long night
      fever eyes
           scanning pages
clock shivers ticks
               songs on repeat
drowning out
               thoughts of
waterpressure
bleach
anatomy
                                cliffs abound
but i've mastered
the tight rope

at least tonight.
