Nothing To Shame
As a hunter I put
The food on the table
As I just would
This is not just some fable
I hunted for food
And never for pleasure
Have always been good
This life I do treasure
If you came to me
And needed to eat
I would do it for free
And give you my seat
The coat on my back
I would give it to you
If you needed to sack
I could help with that too
Even when I am sore
I never have greed
I will never take more
Than I ever need
Can I please ask
That you do the same
You don’t need a mask
There’s nothing to shame
