Nothing To Lose

Nothing to Lose? I’ve got no money in the bank Can’t afford to fill my tank I haven’t got any property I live in a town called poverty I don’t want to die of cold I’m not anxious to grow old So nuclear war sounds good Cause there’s no Robin Hood For once only the rich will lose So there’s no real bad news Do whatever you like Before the next price hike My larder’s running low A nuke has a nice warm glow I haven’t got a yacht So I really don’t give a jot There’s nothing you can destroy Life for millions holds no joy As we all teeter on the edge Can’t afford two meat and veg Do you understand my view? I’ll die poor whatever you do. David Cox 11/10/22

Thanks, a little bit of poetic licence, but not too much. Thanks for the comment Jeff, much appreciated.
