Nothing More
Cornered an eye, felt a sense of rushed dew
Seen a twist of nothing but drawn tears of blue
Looking back not knowing where and how it ended
Life as we know, surprises here and there..now and then.
An unexpected turn, flows of a touched radiant cold
Beneath each surface, once furnished catch of the told
There lay a stare of the once known bold
Screaming an unheard scream of the very old.
What seemed to be walking down the street
Turned to a burst of a painful, silent beat
The rush of a panic, stoned the heart of an elite
Time now took the moment to bleat.
And to end this story, one must share
What was seen and heard of the bursting flare
The cry of the never knowing despair
A shame to not remember the once known glare.
