Nothing More

Nothing More
You are only a lover and nothing more
He says walking out the door
Tranquility followed his presence there
Erasing all hope that he might care
Fools waste wishes upon the stars
Searching for love from lovers afar
Wishing his kiss meant something more
But knowing in your heart
He will return nevermore

Sad, but true to life for many people.
