Nothing lasts forever

Updated previous poem in memory of my beloved beautiful brother. Nothing lasts forever, I don't believe it's true, The love we hold For those we've lost, Stays with us through and through. Nothing lasts forever, I'm inclined to disagree, Memories linger in lifes mind, For everyone to see. Nothing lasts forever, That's what people tend to say, Legacies are left behind They never fade away. But some things last forever, In heart and minds we find, The love we have and memories, We can never leave behind. The passing of a loved one, The grief that breaks your heart, The tears you shed through sadness, Lost , alone and apart. So use the love they gave you, Relive what made you laugh, Eventually peace will find you, And guide you on your path.
