Nothing From Nothing
I have nothing to say,
I have nothing to say.
Here are my dreams,
take them away.
Here is my love,
shut it down.
As I breathe in,
as I breathe out.
Nothing from nothing,
its all the same.
No wind for my sails,
no reason to change.
There is only I,
and I won't take the blame.
I'll leave you outside,
to sit in the rain.
The clouds they will pass,
but the dirt will remain.
The water on your skin,
will evaporate.
But the pain in your bones,
will always ache.
I want to leave,
but I always stay.
I will be broken again,
at the break of the day.
I don't go to sleep,
because I'll just have to wake.
I'll just have to rise,
and relearn my pain.
I am the fainting robin,
my life is in vain.
The old is the new,
and its all the same.
I am not a poet,
I am just a name.
The writing on the wall,
is written on my face.
I have nothing to do,
I have nothing to say.
