Nothing Comes Easy

Living life the best we can.
Even if we wind up living in a van.
Living the way we do
Sometimes under a sky so blue
Nothing ever seems to come easy
Nothing ever comes easy
upon life's lesser stage
Killing yourself for minimum wage
Doing what you can just to get by
It helps to get a little high
Even then nothing seems to come easy
Never seems to come easy
every day always seems the same
But you play that game
Fighting all your life trying to get ahead
For that extra dollar you may end up dead
Cause Nothing ever comes easy
You know Nothing ever comes easy
Cant seem to find my way
Trying just to survive the day
Choices you make
The chances you take
Will you ever get there
Maybe , but not by living in fear
Just remember Nothing comes easy
Nothing seems to come easy
Can't tell you what I'm hoping to find
Cant walk away nor leave it all behind
Trying to stay brave
And out of the grave
But Nothing seems to come easy
Never going to come easy
Always the same
There's no one to blame
But I think I can do just fine
Long as I can stay out of that welfare line
But you got to know no matter where you go
life just doesn't come easy
Never going to come easy
Life ain't never going to be easy
Never ever going to be easy.
