Nothing But This Life To Live By

I met familiar faces on streets
I used to call them "friends"
But things went unusual
when they started to be unwell
I'm pretty much sure!
They saw me waving my hand.
But they rolled their eyes out me
and just walked and passed by.
I sent messages to few of them
but they are trapped with busy life
Just when I realized I'm alone
Time changes this time.
It's just sad to think
that they were once part of my life.
At the end of the day,
one thing I realized
is that I have nothing
but this life to live by...

So true "Nothing but this life to live by" - happened here too. Very solid poetic experience. Chin up and keep writing though! Life's about learning from each other . . . just know you taught them all you could!
