Nothing

I close my eyes
and I am empty,

I gaze upon the stars within,

I watch the end coming.

It won’t be pretty,
it won’t be anything at all.

The final firing of my neurons
will last an eternity,

I will not be born again:

I have seen everything
and I know nothing.
