Nothing
Nothing
Can replace
The feeling of
Their soft cheek
Pressed against mine
Our faces
Puzzle pieces
Laid out
On a cosmic game table
Nothing
Can replace
The good mornings and
Good nights
Tinted pink
Like a ripe peach
Resting on a summer beach
Glistening
Nothing
Can replace
The cold touch of concrete
Pressed against our backs
Staring into the distant sparkles
Soft music taking us down
A celestial river
Nothing
Can replace
The times I lose myself
In the deep coffee oceans
Gleaming
Under fairy lights
Nothing
Can replace
Them.
