Not Yet

I am not ready to leave this place.
I'm not ready yet. Though, in fact,
I was preparing for many days,
But not everything is still exact.

Hold me back. Don't let me leave this place.
I'll leave it as soon as possible.
I'll do it at your earliest convenience.
But now I can't do it. It's impossible.

Please, give me a little while or two.
Don't let me go away in the night.
Be patient - Everything seems untrue.
And nothing is still black and white...

My preparations were long but futile.
I'm sorry... Don't hold it against me.
I dare ask: Would you wait awhile?
I am not ready yet - not yet. You see...
