Not Too Far Away

Off to a far away land
Dreaming of the unreal
Not knowing what to think
Not knowing what to feel

Seeing the unbelievable
Poverty everywhere in sight
We could not help the hunger
But we helped them find the light

Now I sit at home
In front of a computer screen
Luxuries surround me
Probably more than they have seen

Usually I think nothing of it
I just assume it as my right
While in that far off place they’re dieing
Oh, how they need to find the light
