Not Today

Who needs wings to fly
Away from memories
From the darkness of the night
To the mornings gentle breeze
I boarded the plane
Im running away
Im running from the rain inside of me
And dreams of what can not be

When night becomes the day
I feel the sun upon my face
I see you as I daydream
And I cant think of what to say
You smile and close your eyes like you always do
But you look back at me
This man will not be there
Not today
Theres nothing left for you to break
