Not the Tale You Wish It Could Be

You always ignore all the things that I say, 'til it's right before you shoved right in your face.
You know you believe me, you know you can trust me, but still you just curse me, and hurt me then crush me.

I'm beaten I'm broken, I'm cold and unspoken, feel lost I feel slaughtered, feel hurt and I'm bothered. My back has been turned, I've betrayed my own father, to fight for this love here, but why should I bother.

And still you're smiling, still you're lying. Continue hiding, and I'll keep fighting. This heartache is over, there's no more deciding.

In all that you do, I will always see through you, I don't need your hand or your heart cause I'll get through. I'll conquer your soul, I'll devour it's contents, then calmly and slowly I'll head for my exits.

And I'll keep smiling, and I'll keep fighting. While you keep trying, and you keep crying. This romance is over, there's no more denying.

Cause this life's not the tale, you wish it could be. For at the end of this life, you'll regret you met me.
