Not Striving For Tomorrow

Where resides no inclination to be bold
Existence, not for man nor women be
But yet, a future there, hopefully to hold
Not one in which that they will ever see

Yet dream they do, for hearts to somehow please
Although, for naught, their lives are not appeased

Existing then as many drones defined
They walk among us, each and every day
They travel not, nor use their given minds
Escaping not, to find their destined ways

But, still they dream, they hope and pray
A life they will find upon, that one day
