Not So Heartless

Heart
Hard as
The thickness
That lays
Down the
Night

Scared
Of melting
The ice
That keeps
Organs
Intact

Emotions
Running
High and low
Hiding and
Just trying
To survive

Words
Cover all
The mistakes
And fears
Harboring
Inside the mind

Heart
Tactful against
Lies but
Lonlier than
A clear night
Sky
