Not No

Not No

You are not some
Person non grata

Unwelcome
Unwanted
Cast out on the street

You are not some
Unloved
Not cared for
Stranger, we would not want to meet

That voice in your head
Loud louder
Saying these things to you
Has got blinders on
Leaving you empty and blue

Not those things to me
Nor I imagine
To many others you see
I see only God
Only Love
Staring back at me

So if you feel lonely
If you feed sad
Reach out
Beyond
That voice quite mad
Reach out
We see you and are only too glad

Only too glad
To hold space
Give grace
Share laughter
A smile
A cup of tea

Only too glad
To give hugs
A word
Encouragement
For thee

Only too glad
A shoulder
To cry on
Feel blue

To let you
Be with
Feelings passing through

Cause deep down
There is only love for you

So True
