Not Much Longer

How long
will I say these words
with nothing but this wall to direct them towards?

How long will the needy dead ears
press their will against the wall that is made with tears?

How long
will this delirium
rust the center of the soul of the hungry dumb?

How long
'till the barrier breaks
and I can finally discover what a difference it makes?

How much longer do I stand and wait
For the self imprisoned travelers to unseal their fate?

How much longer do I stand and scream
while she kills herself with pleasure in a hollow dream?
