Not Left In the Cold
A cold December day not to long ago...
Our hands slipped apart as one was to go...
The chill on my neck I can still feel as if frozen in time...
I sat on the bench and searched for reasons I could
never find...
My eyes tearing from the cold as I gazed over the
pathway to the trees...
My heart was floating and tossed around the frozen
baron sea...
I could still see the table where we shared our first
picnic and kiss...
On that warm spring day,I never thought it would
be a love I would have to miss...
I take from that a lesson that I hold tight and dear...
I will forever remember to love with no boundaries or fear...
