Not Knowing

Not knowing destroys the patience within
The depths of a person's mind
Slowly devouring our sanity walls
Consuming the ties that they bind

Uncertainty grows, fears they will peak
A nervousness replaces that wall
Depression then slowly swells in your head
Eagerly waiting for you to fall

The will to let go, surrender or fail
A war you'll struggle to fight
Not knowing, not only destroys you within
Not knowing can put out your light
