Not In My Strength Alone

I write these poems as various experiences of mine
I am not ashamed to share my heart, in rhythm and rhyme. 
 My highs and lows, successes, and gratefulness.
Depending on his guidance, and constant faithfulness. 

I am not perfect a work in progress. The master builder
Deserves all the praise and thankfulness.
His wisdom bestow indwelling spirit I seek,
Allows me to express his heart in the words that
I speak. 

So don’t criticise I am not my own, remove the log
From your eye so to speak. If what’s said and done
Is a dagger to your heart, am just speaking God’s word
Inspired from the start.
