Not Anymore

My Face Hasn’t changed but I’m not him anymore
I’m out in the rain and I’m drenched to the core
I can hear you talking but it don’t break the chain
I’m listening to the words and your just in my way

There are tears in your eyes I hope they never dry
Your still don’t get it why should I even try
You say my words are twisted my eyes are black as night
But your face is pretty so don’t worry I won’t bite

I came in from the storm with the wind at my back
Its still holding me up keeping me right on track
You look distressed babe but I could care less
I’d run you down and not worry about the mess

Don’t look at me and I won’t be looking at you
If its love that you want then Faith will have to do
I looked to the sky the clouds were making hast
The day was cold but Then the light him my face
