Not All Falls Are Physical

I fell down within a hole
It was there I did awake
The fall did take its toll
Pain hit me like a quake

So many times I have fallen
And almost every time got up
Some falls did have me bawling
And feeling empty like a cup

One time I hit the ground
And landed with such force
That all who were around
Made me their beeline course

I once was very happy
But then I fell from grace
I then felt very crappy
And disdain had taken place

Not every fall is physical
Some fall within their mind
If you are to whimsical
You may be very blind

To keep yourself from falling
Make sure to watch your step
Don’t go so slow you’re crawling
You’ll want to use some pep
