Not a Moment Too Soon
You came into my life
Not a moment too soon.
I had known love before,
But this time it was new.
The way you made me feel
Was simply sublime.
Though there was competition,
I knew I had to make you mine.
Not a moment too soon,
And we became one.
The commitment you gave me,
Told me this was more than fun.
Because you loved me,
I had the strength to soar.
You gave my life meaning,
And so much more.
Not a moment too soon,
And we were wed.
It was a dream come true,
Dancing in my head.
All that I ever wanted
Was someone to love me for me.
And someone who believed
In what I could be.
Not a moment too soon,
We are together at long last.
You have given me the best that life has.
