Nostalgic Weather

Looking out the windowpane through worlds of cloud and shine familiar impulses through my nerve a feel of excitement, a feel of sorrow. Beauty and grace found in all today I looked out my windowpane I saw rains, clouds, grass and trees tender emotions floods my face sentiments of past brings me memories delightful, yet distant oh how I wish to see my yesterday feel the feeling of childhood pure excitement being a part of it rain, clouds, grass and trees Now I reach for that past, that breeze, that happiness Only to hit adulthood A barrier stood before me The barrier grows larger As I grow bigger Until only memories remain of a certain past, of a certain child playing under the rain, clouds, grass and trees
