Nostalgia

N umbed and obnubilated are the five senses
O btused by the feelings that haunt in the nights
S uffering unnecessarily as a tormented soul
T aking away the happiness of the torned heart
A bdicating as a king that lost his kingdom
L iving in a catatonic state, hidden as a coccon
G etting a shock that awakens the dormant
I nspiring to live with a new conscience
A llowing the flow of life to pass through

Yes, sometimes it is numbing or even painful. But when it has a sweetness to it, it's so nice!! Great acrostic, Nayda.
