Nostalgia

I bought a card for Christmas To post it to a friend: A school day friendship Together we had spent. Playing on the field Eating in some cafe Walking home from school Even in the heat of May. Reminiscing those days As I fill the card, Signing my name beneath With love and regard. I posted the card To the address I knew, It came back to me With an address review. My friend, he shifted To an old age home, From there I learned He lost his sight and comb. Wish I could meet him Just one more time, So, we could recollect Days of our prime.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
