nordic light show	

night of auroras
 swirling fiery spirals spin
  snow buntings call soft

purple green flashes
 leap across the artic night ~
  silver solitude

celestial outbursts
 magnetic sparks pirouette ~
  pink shadows on snow

scarlet reds cascade
 crazy northern lights unleashed ~
  ephemeral mauve

gossamer rainbows
 jubilees of cosmic dust ~
  nocturnal side show

rhapsodies of lights
 aurora leaps star to star ~
  dance of the artic

I've never witnessed one in person, but now I feel as though I have! Some really excellent lines: "swirling fiery spirals spin", "ephemeral mauve", "gossamer rainbows". And your musical personality shines with "rhapsodies of lights" and "dance of the arctic". Loved the light show, R&R Sis. Have a great Thanksgiving week!

Dear R&R bro, many thanks! I do hope that at some point you get to experience the Aurora. It will leave a permanent signature of flashing magic there. When I think about think about it, Aurora really took the pen and wrote this poem. I am so happy that it spoke to your poetic heart and you heard the music from Aurora! Anne-Lise great minds again cross miles and oceans to celebrate the unforgettable winter phenomenon of magical enchantment and great beauty! I missed Lasaad's contest so I rewrote my piece in haiku so I get to re-experience the Aurora Borealis! I have only seen it once but that was enough to leave its fingerprints on my memory there to be revisited in wonder and awe! Can't to wait to read your poem! Aurora hugs my friend!
