Nonsense

NONSENSE

I know there is a group of people
Who spend their entire life
Believing that the earth was conjured up
In a few moments, days if you will,
And that humans were made to appear.
I know there is a group of people
Who spend time thinking that humans
Evolved from other creatures,
While the earth itself was aging
Gracefully for a zillion years.

When I get to the Gates, and somebody
Asks me which group I am in,
I will turn on my heel and say,
Sorry, I must have the wrong Gates,
Because if that is the main criterion
For admission, I don’t want to come in.
I spent my time on earth dealing with
Real issues such as poverty and unfairness,
Bigotry, hatred, loneliness and suffering.
Didn’t have time to think about nonsense.

Ooh, straight to the point. I like your point though, thoroughly agree with your sentiment. Well said
