None the Wiser

I have always wondered, Anxiously waiting for time to past. To ascend to Adulthood, I pondered. To have reached this benchmark, I have surpassed. Nothing is as what I imagined. Fresh freedom to be me, I thought. Free from chains of conditioned Love and Education, But chains of Institution and Task were brought. I have learnt, loved, bled and lost. I have feared, hurt, dreamt and hoped. None the wiser as I see what my being has caused. Though the wisest of me have thrived and coped. The Path is forever altered from the Child within me. Adolescent bygones, moments change without plan. The Past my reference. The Future untold indefinitely. My choices are what makes me a Man. 23rd April 2015
