Nocturnal Silence

The Sunset faded from orange to red As the last sunrays from the day are shed And the warmth of the earth began to die Until tomorrow when the sun would rise Now the burning stars illuminate the sky And the nocturnal creatures begin to fly Then a moment of silence for all those dead As every living creature bows their head
