Nobody Wins
you gave your child a toy
taught your child to love
stole the child's toy
blamed other country's
You taught your child to hate
The child grew up
became a soldier
died crippled in the war
You blame other country's
yet who taught the child to hate
you did not win
your child suffered from your anger
Allied nations return anger
Karma the building blocks of hatred
your children killed people
nations turned against you
Your taught your children to hate
now the people suffer
billions of dollars wasted on war
nobody wins the cost is just to great
money wasted on war
takes away the jobs of the people
unemployment suffering and death
nobody wins from the wars
A thousand years ago
Saladin fought with a king
King Richard the lion hearted
back home in England
King John taxed the people
to pay for the cost of the war
the people turned on him
and stole the power of the king
Forced him to sign the Magna Carte
created Governments
The King lost control of his Kingdom
for the cost of his war
Ask the people who fought
ask the people who lost friends
ask the mothers who lost children
Nobody wins from the war's
