Nobody Knows Me

Nobody knows the thought that goes through my mind.
Nobody knows the truth of who I am.
See I am what I am, what I'm not I'll never be.
Freedom? I'm far from being free.
Birthday feels like a burden, birth of one of uncertainty.

Death looking over my shoulder in place of a placeholder.
Being pierced by a thousand needles can't be compared to this pain
Needless to say, I'm neither here nor there.
Nobody in my vision, but that one person is vivid
I try not to become heartless so I just use my heart less

Nobody knows me, I'm singing a tune but not in tune.
Trying to paint a picture, but not picture perfect.
Anything gain can be lost, not everything present was in my past.
Everyone moves on to a better cause.
Is it written that I'll never be forgotten? For every good fruit has to get rotten.
