Nobody

Honest as the silently lost
The ghost in me hopes I am gone
It comes around and drags me on
I’m barely here, but I don’t belong

I love you all and I always have
But you can’t know, lest you bring me back
I hold this pose and stay on this track
But I must breathe, so I must tell you that….

Nothing good and nothing to speak
I turn away before we all see
The visions of light and disease
I turn away before we are weak

Deepening my stricken soul
So much despair, so much to know
The hate that sings will take its toll
The beauty past still gives me control

Silent as the honestly lost
There’s no-one here, there never was
I crumble down without real cause
There’s no-one here, I was always gone
