No Words
From a wink to a smile or a hug from a child,
that kiss on the head when no words need to
be said.
Our tongues can get tied with our words
running dry, yet our spirits shine through putting
warm and welcoming smiles on our faces to help lift
those that seem blue.
When we cry and cannot speak
as the emotions overspill its not words that we seek,
we do not wish to retreat. Instead we crave touch
and the warmth of being clutched .
