No Walls

I ain’t rock, and I ain’t roll I ain’t country and I ain’t soul Rap it don’t relate to me We can be all of these if we’re free To that lady who carries our light Breaks my heart that it don’t burn bright Our house, well it should be of glass Through which the truth does pass There are no rooms in which we belong It’s just an American auditorium A mixing bowl oh so grand Heralding the equality of man We put aside the segregation Now let’s quit the separation Let’s join together for one big stand The ascension of America’s plan Keep us fractured many empires shall be As they drive us to our bended knee It don’t have to be that way We’re all American born, American free It ain’t the ones at our feet They’re on our shoulders for our defeat Trying to steal our freedom, money and soul For this they conspire as their goal So we ain’t republican or democrat Cause that’s not even where it’s at We ain’t conservative or liberal Don’t try to place us in that cell We don’t care about left or right It’s only America we care for and fight So quit trying to build those prison walls Remember we own these hallowed halls We’re Americans that’s all we be And we’ll tell you once, better listen see. You better pay attention, know what we mean Or we’ll grab a broom and sweep her clean. Raise high the flag, and shake my hand Cause I'm just an American
